When you're first dating someone, it can feel so effortless to come up with interesting things to ask each other. You're both naturally curious and eager to learn as much as you can about each other.
But for couples who have been together for a while, it can feel more difficult to know what to ask each other to create that same intrigue and feeling of captivation...
You may use the standard, "How was your day?" at a bare minimum...
...but unfortunately, that question rarely ellicits anything to provide a window into your partner's inner world: what they've actually experienced throughout the day, how they felt about it, and what's REALLY been on their mind.
But Paul and I have come up with a set of four questions (The Daily Share) that work really well to jumpstart conversations each day that actually help us feel more emotionally bonded, learn more about each other, and provide that window into each others' inner worlds that leads to genuine intimacy.
Here they are!
